About us:
Whiskey Lipstick was born in March 2000. Starting off with Wild Bill & Steve, then Jesse, Jay a little later, then Kat, finally there is Cuzzi. We started out playing Classic rock from the 70's & 80's, and now along with that we had moved on to the 90's & today. We owe our thanks to Dave Rehm for playing Bass for our first gig in August 2000. In our story Jenny really did get married, but first in her wild days played bass for our first 2 years. In our early days we had Tony Biamonte to thank for setting up with the right equipment for the job, and guiding us to where we are now. When we didn't have the equipment it was lent to us by The Shambles ( Dave & Tony's Band ).
Whiskey Lipstick is a 6 piece rock cover band, consisting of 2 guitars, Keyboards, Bass, Drums, Male/Female vocals. Covering a collaboration of music from the 1960’s to today’s top 40. We pride ourselves in bringing the crowd into the music & having fun. We are all friends and still have the majority of the same members for 6 years & running strong. Our fans are devoted and love to party
As of October 2005
Wild Bill decided he had to move on in his life. We will miss him since he has been there from the beginning. We wish him well in his decision and congratulate him & Nadene on their engagement. I am sure you will see him from time to time making special guest appearances at some shows.....
That being said, have no fear, we got a new drummer the very next week, his name is Matt Ruddell. "I can't believe we didn't even miss a practice". We asked Matt to try out with intentions of trying out a few drummers, but after the first practice we all agreed he was the way to go. With his musical talent we are sure he will bring a lot to the table...
January 2006
Steve Turbo decided to put down his guitar and concentrate on vocals, So we brought some new talent to the table, funny as it may be his name is Steve Tesluk. His guitar capabilities are awesome and we are surely looking forward to the new steps the band will take with him taking over the other guitar position.
May 2009
Well... a lot has changed since I last updated this page... It has only been 3 years... Dean Gallagher stepped in for a while and played guitar with us for about 9 months after Steve Tesluk left the band.. Then Dean's life got a little too busy so he left in fall of 2007..... Steve Turbo is playing guitar again... Matt Maximuck took over playing drums in Late 2006 when Matt Ruddell left... And Jason Hampton left in spring of 2008... So we needed a bass player.... So after placing an add on craigslist we tried out a bassist named David Menegaux... to simply put it is a perfect fit...
So now we are back to being a 4 piece rock band .....
